Where Will You Be in 365 Days From Now?

Take a few moments to ask if yourself this very important question: Are you in the same place or near the same place that you were 365 days ago? How many people will honestly answer that question truthfully?
For if everyone had achieved their goals and worked their plan, the world would be a far better place, far closer to being a Master of Success. Yet, we know that most people are not where they want to be. So why are you, if you are like most people, in the same place?
The answer to this question is much more about commitment than probably anything else. If you are truly committed to doing what you need to do to get to where you need to go, you will master success which is the ultimate goal of self improvement.
Commitment may be a value, but it is highly emotional. The more positive emotion we put into something, the greater likelihood that it will be achieved. We may intellectually know that we need to do something from losing weight to following up on sales leads, but until the positive emotional gain dramatically exceeds the existing emotions guiding our behaviors, we will probably not change. Simply speaking, a pithy way to state this is:
The Gain must be greater than the Pain
For many individuals are happy living in the Land of Misery where life is not truly bad and they know what they have. To take the chance to cross the Seas of Change and Uncertainty to the Land of Success is not viewed as an opportunity.
If you truly want to be somewhere else on the road to success and see measurable results, then consider putting a personal growth action plan together in which you begin to take baby steps instead of trying to long jump down that path. In other words, construct a 30 day written goal and work that goal.
